Our Foundation Package ensures schools are kept up to date on all issues of inclusion including changes in legislation at government and local level. We do this through phone and email support to a named Inclusion Consultant, three inclusion briefings a year for SENCOs and pupil premium leaders, and a monthly newsletter. The package also includes access to our website which is the ‘one stop shop’ for the busy SENCO. The website has a range of resources to support schools and SENCOs in all aspects of their work. It is updated monthly to ensure schools are up to date on the latest research and developments.
We offer whole school reviews to look at SEN provision and provision for pupils entitled to the pupil premium. Contact us for details.
Our team works with schools and partnerships of schools to deliver INSET which we will plan with you to ensure it meets the aims of your school / partnership development plan.
Inclusion Consultancy Packages
The inclusion consultancy packages provides bespoke support to schools at reduced rates:
- Our most popular offer is 3 days support, tailor made to meet your school improvement priorities.
- We also offer 4, 6, 10 and 12 day support packages depending on your needs and priorities.
Partnership packages for Multi-Academy Trust/Chain
We offer Inclusion Consultant support to partnerships of schools and Multi Academy Trust chains. Our team will work with you to deliver INSET and to meet your strategic development needs. We can offer support to schools that are without a qualified SENCO and those who need diagnostic assessment to support enhanced provision for learners.

This 4 day support package will enable you to improve whole school behaviour. We will work with you to review your policy and data and help you to develop systems and structures which reduce low level disruption, exclusion and improve engagement in learning.
Our behaviour support package includes training and coaching on the zones of engagement model. This whole school leadership model supports teachers to improve engagement in learning by improving teaching and learning. Leadership teams are supported to reduce low-level disruption across the school and to manage pupils with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs to reduce the risk of exclusion and improve attendance. Our Inclusion Support Plan will be modelled and staff trained to use this systemic framework to drive school improvement.
We offer support for schools who are struggling to include pupils with challenging behaviour who may be at risk of exclusion.
Two half day visits which could include INSET or a staff training session. OXSIT has developed its resources and training to support schools in meeting the needs of new to English pupils and tracking their progress.
OXSIT Inclusion Consultants can work with schools to develop good practice in these areas; develop practice in monitoring and assessment, inclusion practice.
Visits and training are bespoke to the school’s requirements. Work can include:
- Completion of a learning walk to review planning, teaching and provision for EAL learners and their progress.
- Review and quality assurance of current admission, monitoring and tracking systems, policies and actions plans with the SEN/EAL Co-ordinator.
- EAL training for all staff.
- Support to develop systems for identifying EAL pupils who may have SEN.
Literacy Difficulties and Dyslexia
The OXSIT team has a wealth of experience in supporting schools to develop effective provision to meet the needs of learners presenting with literacy difficulties. Our Inclusion Consultants support schools in understanding pupil’s needs and overcoming their barriers to learning through effective classroom practice and well-targeted intervention. We help to build staff expertise to ensure that your school is Dyslexia friendly.
We offer schools a range of support with:
- Assessment and identifying pupils’ difficulties
- Developing suitable strategies and interventions to support pupils’ learning
- Training for staff in supporting pupils’ literacy
- Monitoring classroom practice and additional provision
